Proparco and Atlantic Group enter into a strategic partnership in Africa

- As part of the Africa Forward Summit, co-hosted by France and Kenya in Nairobi on May 11–12, Proparco and Atlantic Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to structure a long-term partnership.

- A multisectoral cooperation addressing the real economy: agribusiness, cement, mining, and financial services.

Proparco, the private-sector financing arm of the Agence Française de Développement Group (AFD), and Atlantic Group, leading pan-African organization, announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) establishing a framework for a strategic partnership.

This partnership reflects a shared ambition: support the high-impact African private-sector players growth and strengthen key sectors driving the continent’s economic transformation, especially financial services, agribusiness, cement and mining industries. Through its multisectoral footprint and presence across several African countries, Atlantic Group plays a significant role in the development of the real economy by contributing to industrialization, employability, and financial inclusion.

Within this framework, Proparco will mobilize its financing instruments, guarantees, and technical assistance solutions to support projects led by Atlantic Group and its subsidiaries as part of a long-term partnership approach.
