Proparco is contributing to Quadria Capital’s third fund with a USD 35m equity investment to support the health sector in South and Southeast Asia.
Client presentation
Quadria is a fund manager launched in 2012, dedicated to financing the health sector in South and Southeast Asia. The fund employs 36 people and operates from two offices: Singapore and Delhi. Quadria Capital already has a total of USD 900m of investments.
Project description
Proparco is contributing to the Quadria Capital Fund III with a USD 35m equity investment. The objective of this third fund is to raise and deploy nearly USD 1bn for healthcare companies. Indeed, the fund aims to invest in hospitals and clinics, with a ratio of at least 40% in the ASEAN region.
Project impact
The project’s impacts lie in the development of quality, affordable and accessible medical services in areas where they are not available or lacking. The project contributes to SDG 3 “Good health and well-being”, SDG 8 “Decent work and economic growth” and SDG 10 “Reduced inequalities”.
